WEXNET 2025, Pakistan’s largest women-exclusive exhibition, brought together 200 women entrepreneurs under one roof, providing them with a unique platform to showcase their products, build network linkages, engage in mutually beneficial collaborations, and share experiences. The event, organized to promote female entrepreneurship, highlighted the export potential of women-led businesses and fostered inter-provincial and international collaboration.

On the sidelines of WEXNET 2025, Federal Secretary Commerce, Mr. Jawad Paul, and Secretary TDAP, Mr. Sheryar Taj, held significant meetings with key stakeholders on the first day. Discussions included enhancing export opportunities, empowering women entrepreneurs, and fostering collaboration across regions. Among the notable participants were:
• Mr. Umar Bin Asad, Vice President, Li & Fung Pakistan (Pvt.) Ltd., with whom export opportunities and strengthening ties with the global buying house were explored.
• Ms. Saira Atta, Secretary, Women Development Department, Balochistan.
• Mr. Shoaib Zafar, National Advisor, ITC.
• Mr. Irshad Ahmed Qureshi, Secretary, Women Development Department, AJK.
* Ms. Quratulain, Vice President FPCCI.

The second day of WEXNET 2025 saw further high-level engagements. Secretary TDAP, Mr. Sheryar Taj, met with:
• Ms. Arshia Bano, Senior Representative, USAID Punjab, and Mr. Kamran Niazi, Economic Growth and Energy Specialist, to discuss collaboration opportunities between TDAP and USAID for capacity-building initiatives targeting women entrepreneurs.
* Ms. Sadaffe Abid, Founder and CEO of Circle, briefed Secretary TDAP on Circle’s tech-focused support for women and proposed digital training initiatives for women entrepreneurs.
* ⁠Ms. Ayesha Farooqi, Chairperson of the Handicrafts Association of Pakistan along with all provincial representatives met to discuss potential export avenues for women entrepreneurs’ products.
* ⁠Ms. Farah Bashir, Founder of the Women Chamber of Commerce, Dera Ghazi Khan.
* ⁠Mr. Salam Ullah, GM, United Motors (Pvt.) Ltd. and United Auto Industries (Pvt.) Ltd., to explore market diversification opportunities in Africa, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh.
* ⁠Mr. Muhammad Latif, MD, CoCOON SDA Care, Australia.

WEXNET 2025 successfully highlighted the crucial role of women in Pakistan’s economic growth and development while fostering new partnerships and export opportunities.
