Jeddah (Noor-ul-Hassan Gujar): A certificates distribution ceremony for volunteers of the Hijaz Region was organized under the auspices of the Pakistan Hajj Volunteers Group (PHVG) in Saudi Arabia. A large number of Hajj volunteers and community leaders attended the event.

Addressing the ceremony, Consul General Jeddah, Khalid Majeed, appreciated the services of the volunteers, stating that PHVG volunteers selflessly serve and guide the guests of Allah, which is commendable. He assured the volunteers of the Consulate’s full support.

Director General Hajj, Abdul Wahab Soomro, emphasized the need to strengthen mutual cooperation for better service to pilgrims. He announced plans to further enhance collaboration between the Pakistan Hajj Mission and PHVG to improve services for the guests of Allah.

Representing the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, General Manager for Social Services and Volunteers, Abdullah Al-Harbi, participated in the event and distributed certificates of appreciation to the volunteers.

Concluding the ceremony, the group’s Central Coordinator, Ashraf Ali Khan, expressed gratitude to Abdullah Al-Harbi, representatives from the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, Pakistan Embassy Riyadh, Consulate General Jeddah, Pakistan Hajj Mission, and other community members. He highlighted that the volunteers not only serve the guests of Allah but also contribute to Pakistan’s goodwill.

The event was attended by Deputy Consul General Adnan Javed, Director Hajj Faheem Khan Afridi, PHVG officials from Riyadh and Dammam, journalists, community members, and hundreds of volunteers. The ceremony was hosted by Abdul Malik and Kamran Khan, during which certificates of appreciation were distributed among hundreds of volunteers.
