ISLAMABAD:The government on Tuesday revised petroleum product prices, reducing the price of petrol by Rs1.70 per litre while increasing the price of high-speed diesel by Rs1.39 per litre.
According to a notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the new prices will take effect from August 12, 2026.
The price of Motor Spirit (petrol) has been reduced from Rs327.62 to Rs325.92 per litre.
Meanwhile, the price of High-Speed Diesel (HSD) has been increased from Rs380.86 to Rs382.25 per litre.
The revised prices were notified under the federal government’s petroleum pricing mechanism following a revision by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA).
