My half Century of Articles (50 ) on brother Country Türkiye

When we pronounce the word Türkiye, it sweetens our mouth, and a sense of love and admiration, warmth and closeness fill our hearts and minds. Pakistan-Türkiye friendship is sweeter than honey, deeper than oceans, and greater than K2. It is historical, deep-rooted, time-tested and all-weather. Its roots are not only among the officials and leadership, but they are found in the people of both countries. When I was a child, my teachers told me about Khilafat-e-Usmania (Ottoman Caliphate). When Britain and its allies tried to split Türkiye, Muslims of the subcontinent came out to support their Turkish brothers, and the Khalifat Movement was started under the leadership of Maulana Muhammad Ali Johar. Muslims of the subcontinent donated generously; even women donated their jewelry, and children donated their pocket money for this noble cause to support and protect their brother country Türkiye. This jewelry was kept in a Turkish museum and is still present as historical assets there.

The love and admiration I developed with Türkiye grew much with the passage of time and multiplied several times when I met with His Excellency Dr Cemal Sangu, Consul General of Türkiye ( now he is in Turkey). He helped much to enhance my knowledge about Türkiye, its people and its leadership. His Excellency Dr Cemal Sangu is my brother and friend who always encourages my research work on Türkiye. He is a highly experienced diplomat. Whatever I have written, it is like a few drops from an ocean, as Türkiye’s beauty is so much; it is highly rich in culture and history, that it needs generations age to write about Türkiye. Similarly, my love for Türkiye is also like an ocean and whatever I have expressed it is like a few drops; the whole ocean is still there in my heart and mind.

Alhamdulillah, last week I completed half a century of my articles on Türkiye and I received congratulatory message from so many friends and well wishers and among them was a very important message of His Excellency Mr. Cemal Sangu. Here is the excerpt of his messages:

“ MashaAllah, what an inspiring and remarkable contribution, my dear brother!👏👏🧿

Your unwavering dedication to strengthening the timeless bonds of Türkiye and Pakistan through your writings is  admirable. Fifty-two articles, 243 pages, and nearly 60,000 words reflect not only an extraordinary intellectual effort but also a sincere labor of love for the enduring friendship between our two brotherly nations.

May Allah Almighty accept your noble efforts, bless your pen with even greater wisdom and impact, and enable your work to continue inspiring generations to come. I pray that this valuable legacy contributes to bringing the brotherly people of Pakistan and Türkiye even closer together.

I pledge to continue my efforts and contributions to the promotion of Pakistan-Türkiye friendship.
