ISLAMABAD:President Asif Ali Zardari, Tuesday, expressed deep sorrow over the explosion at a fireworks factory in Liuyang, Hunan Province of China, which caused heavy casualties and injuries.
“He conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and expressed solidarity with all those affected by the tragedy and wished a swift recovery to the injured,” the President Secretariat Media Wing said in a press release.
The president expressed solidarity with Chinese President Xi Jinping and the Chinese people during this challenging time and extended his sympathies over the loss of lives and injuries.
