Karachi:BNP Chairperson and Honorable Prime Minister Tarique Rahman paid deep respects to the martyrs of the Language Movement through the offering of floral tributes at the Central Shaheed Minar on the occasion of Martyrs’ Day and International Mother Language Day’s first hour.
After offering floral tributes, the Honorable Prime Minister stood silently for a moment to pay deep respect to the memory of the martyrs of the language movement. Then a special prayer was made for the forgiveness of the souls of the martyrs.
Later, BNP Chairperson and Honorable Prime Minister Tarique Rahman offered floral tributes at the Shaheed Minar along with the members of the cabinet.
Afterwards, on behalf of the family of the late national leader and independence hero President Ziaur Rahman and the late stateswoman Begum Khaleda Zia, BNP Chairperson Tarique Rahman’s family members offered floral tributes again at the Shaheed Minar.
