The blessed birth anniversary of Hazrat Fatimah Zahra (Salam Ullah Aleha) was commemorated across Karachi with immense devotion, reverence, and spiritual enthusiasm Milad gatherings were organized in different localities of the city, reflecting the deep-rooted love of the people of Pakistan for the Ahl-e-Bait (AS). These programs were marked by discipline, dignity, scholarly discourse, poetic tributes, and heartfelt expressions of faith.

By the grace of Allah Almighty, I consider myself fortunate to have attended several such gatherings. Each Milad reflected a unique spiritual atmosphere; however, two events stood out due to their scale, organization, and spiritual impact. One was held at Masjid-e-Abu Talib, DHA Phase 8, while the other took place at Imam Bargah Yasrib, DHA Karachi. Both gatherings attracted thousands of devotees, making them among the most significant commemorations of the day in the city.

Hazrat Fatimah (SA): Her Position in This World and the Hereafter

Hazrat Fatimah Zahra (SA) occupies an unparalleled status in Islamic history. She was not only the beloved daughter of Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) but also the wife of Hazrat Ali (AS) and the mother of Imam Hasan (AS) and Imam Husain (AS)—a lineage that forms the spiritual backbone of Islam.

Her excellence is confirmed by the Qur’an and numerous authentic Ahadith. The verse of Tatheer (Surah Al-Ahzab 33:33) clearly establishes the purity of the Ahl-e-Bait, while the verse of Mubahila (Surah Aal-e-Imran 3:61) places Hazrat Fatimah (SA) among those chosen by Allah to represent truth against falsehood and Sora Kosar

The Holy Prophet (PBUH) declared:

> “Fatimah is a part of me; whoever hurts her hurts me.”
(Sahih Bukhari & Sahih Muslim)

Another Hadith states:

> “Fatimah is the leader of the women of Paradise.”

These sayings alone are sufficient to understand her exalted rank not only in this world but also in Jannah, where she will be the Sayyida-tun-Nisa al-Jannah (Leader of the women of Paradise).

Karachi United in Love of Bibi Fatimah (SA)

What was truly remarkable about the Milads in Karachi was the diversity of participation. People from all walks of life—religious scholars, professionals, youth, elders, women, children, and intellectuals—were present in large numbers. This diversity reflected the universal appeal of Hazrat Fatimah (SA), whose life is a model of modesty, patience, courage, justice, and devotion to Allah.

The organizers ensured excellent arrangements, including seating, sound systems, security, and discipline. The atmosphere remained peaceful and spiritually uplifting throughout the programs.

Their poetry resonated strongly with the audience, often moving listeners to tears as they reflected on the trials faced by the daughter of the Prophet (PBUH).

Manqabat Khawani: Voices of Devotion

The Milads were further enriched by the participation of renowned Manqabat Khawans, whose voices are loved across Pakistan and beyond.

Syed Ali Ashar Jafri, with his powerful and emotionally charged recitation, reminded the audience of the deep spiritual bond between the believers and the Ahl-e-Bait (AS). His Manqabats highlighted the dignity, patience, and spiritual strength of Bibi Fatimah (SA), reinforcing the message that love for her is an essential part of faith.

One of the most encouraging aspects of these Milads was the active participation of the youth. Young men and women attended in large numbers, listened attentively to scholarly discussions, and actively engaged in the spiritual proceedings. This reflects a positive trend and a hopeful future, where the teachings of Ahl-e-Bait (AS) continue to inspire coming generations.
