Karachi:The Publican Alumni Association proudly organized its Annual Reunion Dinner on December 21, 2024, at F.G. Minwala Girls High School, Karachi Cantt. This much-anticipated event brought together alumni and esteemed former teachers from F.G. Boys High School, Karachi Cantt, and F.G. Minwala Girls High School for an unforgettable evening of nostalgia, camaraderie, and heartfelt celebration.
The evening unfolded with a variety of engaging activities, including interactive sessions with respected teachers and alumni, a shield presentation ceremony to honor distinguished educators for their invaluable contributions, a sumptuous dinner, and an enchanting musical night that delighted all attendees.
Rear Admiral Tanveer Ahmed SI (M), Patron-in-Chief of the Publican Alumni Association, addressed the audience and commended the alumni for their unwavering dedication to impactful initiatives over the past year. He highlighted the following key achievements during the calendar year 2024:

- Awarding Merit Scholarships: Scholarships were granted to deserving students from both F.G. Boys and F.G. Minwala Girls High Schools.
- World Teachers’ Day Celebration: The association organized events to recognize and celebrate the vital role of teachers.
- Water Filtration Plant Installation: A state-of-the-art water filtration plant was installed at F.G. Boys High School in collaboration with Rotary International and K-Electric, ensuring access to clean drinking water for students and staff.
Following this, the Chairman of the Publican Alumni Association, Mr Mohammad Tariq Sumar, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the alumni community and the organizing committee for their dedication and efforts in strengthening the connection between the alumni and their alma mater. He paid special tribute to the former teachers, lauding them as the guiding lights who shaped the lives of countless students and laid the foundation for their success.
Col. WaseemShakoor, Regional Director of FGEIs (C/G) Karachi Region Schools, also addressed the gathering. He extended his sincere thanks to the alumni for their steadfast commitment to their alma mater and assured his full support for future projects. He described the event as a wonderful opportunity to honor the legacy of the schools and recognize the invaluable contributions of their educators.
