HYDERABAD (MUHAMMAD NAVEED)To celebrate Sindhi Culture Day, Deputy Commissioner Hyderabad and Mayor Hyderabad Municipal Corporation have launched a district-wide beautification project. The initiative, which began in mid-November, aims to restore the city’s aesthetic appeal by incorporating elements that reflect the rich culture of Sindh.
Some of the project’s key features include:

– Ajrak-themed Flyovers: Painting flyovers in traditional Sindhi Ajrak designs to add a touch of local culture to the city’s infrastructure.
– Sindhi Topi-inspired Public Seatings: Designing public seating spaces in the shape of the iconic Sindhi Topi, a symbol of Sindhi identity and pride.
– Monument Installations: Setting up monuments that showcase the history and heritage of Sindh, promoting cultural awareness and appreciation.
– Plantation and Cleanliness Drives: Organizing plantation drives and cleanliness campaigns to create a greener and more beautiful environment for the citizens of Hyderabad.
– Celebrating Sindhi Culture: Promoting and celebrating the rich cultural heritage of Sindh through various events and activities.
