(Karachi) The News Lark team visited the Indonesian Consulate on Friday to pay rich tribute to the outgoing Consul General of Indonesia Excellency Dr.June Kuncoro Hadiningrat. Mr. Jawed Malik CEO and Chief Editor the News Lark Karachi said His Excellency Dr. June Kuncoro is very famous, a favourite one among the people of Karachi who like and admire him very much. He further said that His Excellency is a highly educated, dedicated, committed, vibrant, and active person who left no stone unturned to promote and enhance bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries. Dr. Syed Mehboob Senior Research Editor the News Lark said that His Excellency Dr. Kuncoro is very friendly, Close, near, and dear to the hearts of Pakistanis, he is taking our hearts with him. It is very difficult to say him goodbye. He will always be remembered for his great services. He further said that His Excellency always encouraged him to promote Pakistan-Indonesia friendship. Dr. Syed Mehboob also paid rich tribute to Mr. Jawed Malik who always supported and gave a free hand to him to continue his research and write frequently on various topics of International Affairs including highlighting Indonesian advancement in various sectors. Syed Muhammad Atyab said as a part of the News Lark team, he would like to promote Pakistan-Indonesia friendship among youth. His Excellency appreciated his passion and said the Indonesian Consulate is very keen to provide first-hand knowledge to Pakistani youth about Indonesia and offers a large number of scholarships to Pakistani students. His Excellency also praised the role being played by the News Lark and said the write-ups and articles of Dr. Syed Mehboob are very interesting, with thorough knowledge, in-depth research and analysis, and contain valuable information. Whatever he wrote about Indonesia is part of treasured efforts to promote Pakistan Indonesia friendship. Mr. Jawed Malik presented a very unique gift of embroidered Sindhi Cap to His Excellency as a token of love and high respect for His Excellency. His Excellency liked very much this traditional Sindhi Cap. Dr. Syed Mehboob presented his poem on Indonesia and a compilation of his one and half-dozen of articles about Indonesia. His Excellency Dr. June Kuncoro also presented beautiful gifts to Jawed Ahmed Malik and Dr. Syed Mehboob.
His Excellency Dr. June Kuncoro after completing his magnificent tenure is leaving for Indonesia on 30th July 2024 and leaving behind him a legacy of hard work, untiring and sincere efforts to enhance, promote, and multiply Pakistan-Indonesia relations and opened his door for business, intellectual community, and media personnel without any discrimination and he will always be in the hearts and minds of Pakistani people.
