KARACHI:The Social Aid and Awareness Program (SAAP) visited the Disabled Welfare Association (DWA) center. The primary purpose of the visit was to engage with DWA’s leadership, learn about their current activities, and assess the professional development needs of the institution. The SAAP team included Chairperson Mr. Tasneem Abbas Zaidi, Senior Vice Chairperson Mr. Sohail Mohammad Ali, and Executive Member Ms. Fatima Farooq
Mr. Javed , the founder of DWA, welcomed the SAAP team and introduced them to his team. During this visit, Mr. Zaidi also introduced his team to Mr. Javed . The meeting began with a discussion on the challenges faced by civil society organizations (CSOs) in Pakistan. Following this, Mr. Zaidi outlined the objectives of SAAP’s visit. He announced the launch of the “SAAP Nonprofit Enhancement Project,” which aims to support nonprofit organizations, particularly those serving individuals with disabilities. The project’s core purpose is to address challenges through expert guidance and customized solutions. It seeks to enhance the operations, effectiveness, and sustainability of these nonprofits through comprehensive Organizational Development Assessment Services. Mr. Javed appreciated SAAP’s initiative and assured full cooperation with the project.
