ISLAMABAD:Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Professor Ahsan Iqbal on Tuesday congratulated the nation and Pakistan Armed Forces on the successful test of the Fatah-IV cruise missile, terming it a significant step towards self-reliance in defence technology.
In his message, the minister said the Pakistani scientists and engineers who played a role in the development of Fatah-IV deserved congratulations and tribute for their contribution.
He said the indigenously developed Fatah-IV was equipped with state-of-the-art avionics and navigation systems.
Ahsan Iqbal said successful test of cruise missile reflected Pakistan’s self-reliance in defence technology and marked an important advancement in strengthening the country’s defence capabilities.
“May Allah Almighty always bless Pakistan with peace, security and stability,” he prayed.
