ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Monday praised security forces for carrying out a successful operation against militants in Dera Ismail Khan (DI Khan), where four militants were killed.
In a statement, Mohsin Naqvi paid tribute to the security forces for their action against the militants and appreciated their professional capabilities in completing the operation. He said the forces had once again demonstrated their preparedness and effectiveness in dealing with security threats.
The Interior Minister commended the personnel involved in the operation and acknowledged their efforts in eliminating four militants during the action.
Mohsin Naqvi said the security forces had foiled the plans of what he described as Indian-sponsored terrorists and prevented them from achieving their objectives. He said the operation reflected the commitment of security institutions to maintaining peace and security in the country.
The minister further stated that operations against militants in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are continuing under the Azm-e-Istehkam Vision. He said action against militants is being carried out without discrimination and will continue in the future as part of the government’s counter-terrorism efforts.
Mohsin Naqvi reiterated that the fight against terrorism remains a national priority. He said the entire nation stands with the security forces in efforts to eliminate terrorism and support measures aimed at ensuring peace and stability.
He added that the sacrifices and professional performance of the security forces are valued by the nation, and their continued efforts are essential in confronting security challenges and protecting the country from terrorist threats.
