Google’s initiative to provide Pakistani students with a free facility for one year is a welcome and commendable step. In the modern era, education and technology are closely interconnected. Providing students with free access to modern digital resources can play an important role in their educational journey. Google is one of the world’s leading technology companies, and its various digital services are widely used by students, teachers, and educational institutions around the world. Providing this free facility to Pakistani students can help them benefit from modern technology, online educational content, and research opportunities.
In today’s world, traditional education alone is no longer sufficient; digital skills have also become extremely important for students. Skills such as artificial intelligence, online research, cloud technology, and digital communication have gained fundamental importance in future employment. Such facilities can provide young people with access to world-class education and information.
Pakistan has a large number of talented and hardworking young people; however, a lack of resources sometimes becomes an obstacle to realizing their potential.
