QUETTA:Security forces have eliminated 15 terrorists during a series of intelligence-based operations (IBOs) conducted in different parts of Balochistan under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3.
Security Sources said that the operations were launched on the basis of intelligence reports to target terrorist hideouts and dismantle their networks operating in the province.
Security forces carried out actions in Mastung, Bolan, Washuk and Awaran, followed by further operations in Sibi, Khuzdar, Harnai and Nushki, they said.
During the operations, 15 terrorists were killed, while a substantial quantity of weapons, ammunition and other material was recovered from their possession.
The Security Sources said the successful actions dealt a major blow to terrorist networks and significantly disrupted their operational capabilities in Balochistan.
Security forces remain determined to continue Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3 until terrorism is completely eradicated, they said.
