Karachi :Sindh Minister for Home Law and Parliamentary Affairs, Zia ul Hassan Lanjar, has extended his heartfelt congratulations over the victory of the Asma Jahangir Group in the Pakistan Bar Council elections.
In a statement, he said that the success of the Asma Jahangir Group reflects the strong confidence of the legal fraternity and serves as clear evidence that lawyers are united and committed to the protection of the Constitution, the rule of law, and democratic values.
The Sindh Home Minister congratulated his supported candidates, including Farooq H. Naek, Ubaidullah Mallano, Munir Malik, Saleem Mangrio,, Fazal Qadir Memon, the newly elected office-bearers, and extended his best wishes to them.
Zia ul Hassan Lanjar emphasized that the supremacy of the Constitution and the law forms the foundation of a strong and stable state, adding that no democratic system can be strengthened without the rule of law.
He expressed hope that the newly elected leadership of the Pakistan Bar Council would play an effective and positive role in upholding the Constitution, ensuring the rule of law, and facilitating timely justice for the public.
