I extend my heartfelt felicitation to the people and leadership of brotherly, close to our heart, country Oman on its glorious and auspicious “National Day”. Oman, as described by our Senior Research Editor, Dr Syed Mehboob, is synonymous with love, peace, hospitality, and beauty, and is in the very depths of our hearts. It is an honour for me that I have dedicated my newspaper’s pages to the promotion of Pakistan-Oman Friendship, and repeat our pledge that we will continue our efforts for this noble cause. Oman plays and is playing a significant role in promoting the unity of the Muslim Ummah, fostering peace, tolerance, and coexistence. Its visionary leader, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, is a friend of Pakistan. The Pakistani diaspora is proud to serve the Omani brothers and is an integral part of Oman’s journey of development, progress, and prosperity. We wish the best of luck for Oman, its people, and leadership, and pray for its strength, stability, and success in its journey of prosperity and development.
