ISLAMABAD: The 354th session of the Senate was prorogued sine die on Friday due to a lack of quorum, as pointed out by Senator Saifullah Abro.
Presiding Officer Manzoor Ahmed Kakar, who was chairing the session, ordered the traditional ringing of bells in an attempt to summon absent members. However, the attendance remained insufficient.
With no improvement in quorum, the Presiding Officer proceeded to read out the prorogation order, officially ending the session.
