KARACHI: In a display of commitment despite rough weather and public holidays, Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation KW&SC teams remain active across the city to ensure emergency drainage operations amid ongoing monsoon conditions.
Acting on directives from CEO KW&SC Ahmed Ali Siddiqui, the corporation’s staff continues to perform duties diligently at designated posts.
According to a KW&SC Spokesperson. Jetting and suction machines have been deployed across key areas to accelerate water removal.
CEO Siddiqui made late-night inspections across several neighborhoods to directly oversee drainage efforts, issuing special instructions to the field staff and ordering the chief sewerage engineer to expedite operations.
“All available resources and manpower are being utilized to prevent public inconvenience,” the KW&SC spokesperson said, adding that the corporation remains committed to rapid and effective water drainage for Karachi’s residents.
