The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has announced that authorised bank branches across the country will remain open on Saturday, 16 August 2025, from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm, to accept Hajj 2026 application forms.
This step followed a request by the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, which sought to ease the submission process for intending pilgrims.
In compliance, 14 designated banks will ensure their selected branches operate on the day to accommodate applicants.
The decision aimed to provide convenience and sufficient time to those intending to perform Hajj in 2026, particularly those unable to visit banks on weekdays.
