KARACHI: Chief Executive Officer of KArachi Water and Sewerage Corporation (KW&SC), Ahmed Ali Siddiqui, chaired a high-level meeting on Saturday, focused on enhancing Karachi’s water supply and sewerage systems. The session was attended by chief engineers and superintendent engineers from all city districts.
According to the Spokesperson KW&SC, the meeting aimed to make the water and sewerage infrastructure more efficient, sustainable, and responsive to public needs. Detailed discussions were held on water distribution, sewerage operations, ongoing projects, public complaints, and operational challenges.
Siddiqui emphasized uninterrupted water supply as a top priority, warning that negligence in this regard would not be tolerated. He directed officials to respond promptly to sewerage-related complaints to prevent inconvenience to residents.
CEO KW&SC further stressed the adoption of modern technical methods and the need to keep field teams active and responsive to emergencies. Reaffirming KW&SC’s commitment to improved service delivery, Siddiqui pledged transparency and efficiency across all departments to ensure better facilities for Karachi’s citizens.
