Karachi:Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhary, (DG ISPR) met with representatives of multiple faith religions and social circles in Karachi. People belonging to multiple religions and social circles warmly welcomed the DG ISPR and expressed their full solidarity with the armed forces of Pakistan. During the interactive session, DG ISPR said that in Pakistan, followers of all religions are equal citizens, and they have full constitutional rights, because national unity is maintained only through equality and harmony. He said India is supporting terrorism in Pakistan while Pakistan Army is responding to the enemy with modern war strategy. He emphasized upon ethnic or linguistic hatred is ignorance, all Pakistanis are equal, if we remain united, no force can defeat us. Only the state can declare jihad and no
individual or group has this authority to announce such state level decisions. Representatives of multi faith religions met DG ISPR after the session, he appreciated and thanked the efforts of all participants and expressed his wish that such sessions should continue in the future.
