KARACHI: On the directives of Mayor Karachi, Barrister Murtaza Wahab, Chief Executive Officer of the Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation (KW&SC), Ahmed Ali Siddiqui, has announced that water tanker services will continue without interruption during the Eid-ul-Adha holidays.
This decision aims to ensure smooth and timely water supply to citizens during the festive period.
According to Hydrants Cell Incharge Muhammad Siddiq Tunio, the decision was made with public convenience in mind, ensuring that no disruption in water delivery affects residents during the holidays, All online booking users will be provided timely delivery of water tankers throughout Eid.
To facilitate this, all scheduled leaves of tanker drivers and Hydrants Cell staff have been canceled, ensuring the service remains fully operational.
The earlier decision to temporarily suspend the service during Eid has now been reversed.
Additionally, CEO’s focal person for the Hydrants Cell, Shehbaz Bashir, will directly oversee the supply and delivery operations to promptly resolve any complaints or disruptions that may arise.
