KARACHI: The 23rd Lux Style Awards honored artists who have made outstanding contributions to the fields of fashion, film, music and television in Pakistan. Famous singer Ahmed Jahanzeb’s popular song “Tera Mera Hai Pyaar” was the most streamed song of the year, earning him the award of ‘Singer of the Year’. Actor Wahaj Ali won significant success in both film and TV categories due to his lively performance in the movie “Tere Meri Kani” and the drama serial “Tere Bain”.The drama serial “Kabali Pallav” won several awards under the television critics’ choice, including Best Drama, Best Director (Kashif Nisar) and Best Actor (Ihtshamuddin and Sabeen Farooq). In the film category, “Ganjal” was adjudged the best film by both the audience and the critics, further strengthening its artistic significance. In the field of fashion, Javaria Ali and Hussain Rehar were honored with awards for their unique style and innovation. The awards were announced digitally by renowned director Sarmad Khost on Lux’s official social media platforms.
