Karachi:Spokesperson of the Government of Sindh, Ms. Syeda Tehseen Abidi, held a meeting today with renowned and highly experienced journalist Mr. Mazhar Abbas at the Karachi Press Club. The meeting focused on key issues related to journalism, freedom of expression, and the current state of the media in Pakistan.
Several senior journalist colleagues of Mr. Mazhar Abbas, including Alauddin Khanzada and Khursheed Abbasi, were also present at the meeting.
The discussion took place in a cordial and constructive atmosphere, where both sides exchanged ideas openly.
Syeda Tehseen Abidi appreciated the remarkable contributions of Mazhar Abbas in the field of journalism and emphasized that a free and responsible media is the backbone of any democratic society. She reiterated that the Government of Sindh strongly supports freedom of the press and constructive dialogue with media professionals.
