A delegation of senior editors and Karachi based senior journalists paid a visit at Iranian Consulate on Tuesday and expressed its heartfelt condolences over the martyrdom of Ayatullah Syed Ali Khamenei by Israel- American strike on Iran. They expressed their deepest sympathy with the people and leadership of Iran and expressed their solidarity with them. They unanimously condemned the barbaric attack and described it violation of international law. On the occasion Consul General of Islamic Republic of Iran His Excellency Akbar Eissazadeh said that American and Israeli attacks are unjustified and when at a time negotiations were going on US and Israel deceived the process and illegally attacked and martyred Ayatullah Syed Ali Khamenei, Rehbar e Moazzam Iran. He said that the whole Iranian nation is united under the leadership of newly elected Rehbar e Mozzam, Syed Mujtaba Khamenei and not ready to bow down its head before the dictation and unjustified, illegal demands of aggressors. He said that the extent of brutality of Israel and US can be imagined that even they did not hesitate to kill hundreds of innocent schoolgirls. He categorically declared Iranian stance that if attacked continued it will be retaliated by Iran and we will do whatever we can do for our defence and to protect the lives of our people. The delegation offered fateha for the issal e sawab of Syed Ali Khamenei and Mr. Mubashir Mir, Manzar Naqvi and Dr Syed Mehboob signed at the condolence book. The delegation was led by senior journalist and President Karachi Editors Club Mr. Mubashir Mir and on the occasion senior journalists Mr. Jawed Ahmed Malik, Mr. Manzar Naqvi, Dr Syed Mehboob, Brig. Karrar Hussain (Retd), Mr. Mukhtar Ahmed Butt, Mr. Iqbal Jamil, Mr. Agha Shirazi, Ms. Abida Shirazi, Mr. Mansoor Bukhari, Mr. Akhtar Shaheen Rind, Mr. Naeemuddin, Mr.Tazmeen Javed, Ms. Haseena Jatoi, Mr. Ahsan Mehnti, Mr. Tahir Hassan, Dr. Rasheed Jamal, Mr. Riaz Aajiz and others were also present.
