The News Lark team visits Iranian Consulate where it is warmly welcomed by CG Iran

The News Lark team comprising with Chief Editor Mr.Jawed Ahmed Malik, Dr Syed Mehboob Senior Research Editor visited Iranian consulate on Tuesday and it was received a warm welcome by CG Iran H.E Akbar Eissa Zadeh and other staffners of Iranian consulate. Talking with the News Lark team His Excellency said western media is presenting a misleading scenario about Iran and it is part of western propaganda which does not reflect the reality. Actually western media is trying to pave the way for Israeili and American intervention. He further said that Pakistan and Iran are two brothers, neighbours and partners in peace efforts . Both countries enjoy very good and strong relations and there is a great potential To further enhance these relations especially in economic sector. Both countries agreed to do efforts to enhance bilateral trade from current volume of $ 3.2 billion to $ 10 billion. There is a scope of trade in agriculture,energy, food and other sectors. There is a need to exchange delegations of media and academic personnel.He said despite sanctions imposed by western countries for the last forty years Iran made steady progress in all fields.He stressed the need of Muslim Ummah’s unity and larger cooperation among all Muslim countries to foil the conspiracy to weaken Muslim countries. Mr Jawed Malik said that The News Lark has dedicate it’s pages for the promotion of Pakistan and Iran friendship and played a historical role for this noble cause. Dr Syed Mehboob said that It is not only Iran which is the target of anti Islam elements but the whole Ummah is their target. He said last year in November he viaited Iran and witnessed Iran’s development in many areas. He said that he produced forty research based articles on Iran and committed further to continue his efforts in this regard.
