ISLAMABAD:Parliamentary Secretary for Information Barrister Danyal Chaudhry on Thursday said the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz
(PML-N) believes in the politics of development and public welfare, asserting that the party has consistently played a constructive role in the country’s progress.
Speaking to a private television channel, he said the PML-N had taken its development-oriented narrative to the voters of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), where elections are scheduled to be held. He expressed confidence that the electoral process would be conducted in a transparent manner.
Criticizing the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), he alleged that the party had promoted politics based on agitation and division.
He said that despite governing Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for many years, PTI had failed to effectively address key challenges, including governance, security, infrastructure, and law and order.
The parliamentary secretary maintained that the PML-N had successfully completed numerous development projects in Punjab and continued to prioritize public welfare through its policies and initiatives.
Responding to a question about the government’s alliance with its coalition partners, he said the coalition was working together to ensure political stability and strengthen the country’s democratic system.
