ISLAMABAD:Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry on Monday reaffirmed the government’s commitment to eradicating terrorism, stating that all available measures would be employed to address the threat.
Speaking to a private television channel, the minister said resolving the country’s pressing challenges remains the government’s top priority. He emphasized that ensuring peace and stability is essential for national progress.
He stressed that all political parties, including the opposition, share the responsibility of setting national priorities to effectively combat terrorism. He called for collective efforts and political unity to eliminate the menace in a decisive manner. The Jawans of security forces are sacrificing their lives in fighting war on terror, he said.
Commenting on the role of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), the minister urged the party to set aside personal agendas and engage in dialogue on issues of national importance.
He said the opposition, particularly PTI, should focus on safeguarding the national interest and work together with the government to address matters concerning the public.
