ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Power Sardar Awais Ahmed Khan Leghari on Sunday strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Quetta, saying the targeting of innocent civilians was deeply tragic and condemnable.
In a statement, the minister said terrorist elements backed by India were once again attempting to disrupt peace and stability in Pakistan.
He said the brave armed forces and the nation would never bow before such cowardly acts and reiterated the government’s resolve to defeat every nefarious design of anti-state elements.
The minister expressed heartfelt condolences to the families of the martyrs and prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured in the incident.
He said Pakistan would foil every malicious attempt by enemies seeking to destabilize the country.
