ISLAMABAD:Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Tuesday, chaired a meeting to review and scrutinize cases relating to the recognition of medical, dentistry and alternative medicine educational institutions under the relevant laws.
Chairing a meeting of the Committee on Recognition of Medical, Dentistry and Alternative Medicine Educational Institutions, the DPM/FM emphasized the importance of quality assurance and adherence to international standards.
The meeting was attended by the Minister for National Health Services and Regulations, Minister for Law and Justice, SAPM Tariq Bajwa, Secretary Health, Secretary Education, and senior officials from relevant Ministries and departments, the Office of DPM said in a press release.
The committee further reiterated that Pakistani students seeking medical education abroad must follow the process for prior registration laid down by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PM&DC) to avoid any issues in the future.
