ISLAMABAD:Federal Minister for Law and Justice Azam Nazeer Tarar on Thursday said that the federal government is committed to provide full support to the development projects of the Bar Councils.
A delegation of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Bar Council called on Federal Minister for Law and Justice Senator Azam Nazir Tarar. The meeting discussed in detail the welfare of lawyers and various institutional issues related to the Bar Council.
The Federal Law Minister said on the occasion that Bar Councils are among the priorities of the government and their strengthening is indispensable for the effective establishment of the justice system. He reiterated that the federal government is committed to providing full support to the development projects of the Bar Councils.
During the meeting, discussions were also held regarding increasing government support for the ongoing and proposed projects of the Bar Council, solving the problems faced by lawyers and providing facilities.
The Federal Law Minister, while appreciating the role of the legal community, said that the role of Bar Councils in the justice system is very important and the government will continue to take practical steps to make this role more effective.
