Korangi (Reporter) Influential person Sadaqat son of Hanif is doing illegal construction work on the roof of a four-storey building located at Plot No. 1445/31B in Allahwala Town area of Korangi, due to which the structure of the entire building and the lives of the residents are facing serious threats. According to sources, Sadaqat son of Hanif had earlier bought a house on the fourth floor of the building, but he has occupied the roof using force and started building a room. Due to the additional weight on the roof of the building and the illegal structure, the pressure on the foundations of the building is increasing, which can cause any major accident in the future. Neither the Korangi Industrial Area Police took any action regarding this illegal construction nor the Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) took any notice, due to which the residents of the area are very worried. Residents have demanded that the illegal constructions be stopped immediately and legal action be taken against the influential person. They have demanded that higher authorities, especially the Sindh Building Control Authority and Korangi Police, take serious notice of the matter and provide security to the building and the residents.
