Karachi:The show started on 19th April 2024 , at Majmua The Art Gallery and was curated by Mehreen Ilahi. This was her first solo show and Meriums exhuberance is reflected in her paintings. They are a very sensitive portrayal of nature and it makes you revel in her sunshine and hear the wind pass softly through the trees and meadows, as the flowers sway and dance spreading a scent of their own.
The exhibition was well attended and people seemed to enjoy her unique and fresh approach in her brush and knife techniques. Her textured paintings and the play of light and shade depicts her love for detail. Nature seems to blossom on the canvas under her thin and thick strokes. Her art comes to life. Mariam pays tribute to mother nature at its best..
