Pakistan is an important export country for Bangladesh: Envoy

KARACHI: H.E. S. M. Mahbubul Alam, Deputy High Commissioner of Bangladesh, while declaring Pakistan as an important country for Bangladesh in terms of exports, said that the business communities of both countries can promote bilateral trade through mutual contacts. This will bring substantial benefits to the economies of Pakistan and Bangladesh. While addressing the members of the executive committee of Pakistan Yarn Merchants Association(PYMA), Deputy High Commissioner of Bangladesh said that in Bangladesh 500 Spinning units are working & Bangladesh imported 100,000 Ton of Polyester Fiber in 2021.Sohail Nisar, Sr. Vice Chairman, Pakistan Yarn Merchants Association(PYMA). Jawed Khanani, Vice Chairman PYMA, Former Chairman Muhammad Usman, M. Saqib Goodluck, Former Vice Chairman M. Farhan Ashrafi, Shahabuddin, M. Junaid Teli, Members Managing Committee Munir Ismail, Asif Amanullah, Behroze Kapadia, Bilal Saleem, Ahmed Munaf, Omer Shaikh, Former Vice Chairman Waheed Umer, Noman Ilyas, M. Anis Mandavia, Asif Gandhi and Hassan Sohail were also attended the meeting.Deputy High Commissioner of Bangladesh further said that Bangladesh highly Encourage Foreign investments & Readymade Garments is a Major Item of Export. On replying over different Question from Members of Executive Committee.Envoy informed that an International Trade Fair will be Organized in January 2023 at Dhaka & the members of PYMA are invited to participate in the Fair. The visa facility will be provided to them. Earlier, Sohail Nisar, Sr. Vice Chairman PYMA, welcomed the Deputy High Commissioner Bangladesh, and appreciated the good wishes regarding bilateral trade with Pakistan.
