ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad police have stopped PPP’s “Awami March” at D-Chowk from entering the federal capital. The party’s spokesperson said the convoy was stopped by the police after which PPP’s Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari refused to proceed without the full convoy. According to the reports, the vehicles following the convoy stopped to wait for the rest at the expressway. Bilawal said that his party workers had been stopped through barricades at various places. PPP leader Faisal Karim Kundi said the convoy will hold a sit-in outside Faizabad and wait for every single worker to unite before proceeding. PPP’s long march is scheduled to enter Islamabad today.
