GWADAR: China Pakistan Economic Corridor Authority (CPEC) Chairman Asim Saleem Bajwa said that Gwadar Port is completely operational and handled around 67,000 metric tons of cargo, mostly Afghan- Transit trade, in the last few months. Asim Bajwa said that China Port Holding has spent around $300 million and Gwadar port is completed and operational. “Tomorrow 8,000 cubic feet vessel is arriving at Gwadar port followed by 24,000 metric ton vessel by Australia the day after tomorrow,” Chainman CPEC Authority said. Chairman CEPC further said online booking facility for good transportation at Gwadar Port. “Master Plan of Gwadar City has also been approved,” he added. He said that 12,000 jobs have been provided in Gwadar and the city would see rapid development in future as work on Gwadar Airport has been going on speedily.
